The Indy Fuel have postponed their weekend series against the Wheeling Nailers. The Fuel and Nailers were scheduled to play in a home-and-home series on Friday and Saturday.
The Nailers currently have multiple players with confirmed cases of COVID-19 on their active roster. The ECHL has postponed the games to ensure the health and safety of all its players, staff and fans. The Fuel have rescheduled the series against Wheeling for April 2 and 3. The promotional nights that were scheduled will also be rescheduled for those dates.
Currently, the ECHL schedule goes through Feb. 11. On Feb. 12, teams can join the ECHL for the remaining 50 games of the season, which will end in June.
