The Dallas Fuel have released Jonathan "HarryHook" Tejedor Rua for player misconduct after several private messages surfaced on Twitter showing Tejedor Ru making misogynistic comments.

On Wednesday, a Twitter user posted screenshots of interactions with HarryHook that included the comments. Shortly after his release, Tejedor Rua tweeted his reaction, saying he is "Not gonna make a big deal of it, I tried to help this person for some time."

Tejedor Rua had been with the Dallas Fuel for three years and four with the team's parent company, Envy.

Tejedor Rua's release follows a series of recent personnel changes within the Dallas Fuel organization. Jang "Decay" Gui-un was released on Monday from the team after seemingly refusing to practice and work with Fuel staff. Fuel coach Aaron "Aero" Atkins and assistant coach Louis "Tikatee" Lebel-Wong also parted ways with the team Monday. Former Fuel player Zachary "ZachaREEE" Lombardo retired from the Overwatch League in June and then signed with FaZe Clan's competitive VALORANT team on July 24.

The next matchup for Dallas is against the Washington Justice on Friday as part of the Countdown Cup tournament.
