WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) - Residents of a Waterloo neighborhood say they've been evacuated from their homes after a fuel tanker truck rolled over, and crashed into a home.
A gas tanker truck plowed into a home early Thursday morning.
Police on scene say that the driver of the truck was injured and taken to a hospital but is doing okay. The Waterloo Fire Department says they had to cut the driver from the truck.

Police say the fuel tanker crashed into a home at the intersection of Hammond and Ridgeway Avenues around 6:45 Thursday morning. KWWL's Collin Dorsey is on the scene and reports it's a Kwik Trip fuel tanker.
The fire department says Kwik Trip is sending a crew down and there is currently a third party clean up at the scene.
MidAmerican will be setting a new pole after one was affected in the crash.
Several streets in the area are blocked off and officers are asking everyone to avoid the area.
