The Dallas Fuel will have something to celebrate as the third Overwatch League season closes.
Support player William “Crimzo” Hernandez was selected to the North America All-Star team and DPS guru Stefan “Onigod” Fiskerstrand will be participating in the Widowmaker 1-vs-1 on Oct. 3.
Hernandez, the only Fuel player selected to the All-Star team, was most effective as an aggressive support player. Moira was his most consistent pick, filling in on Ana whenever the Fuel were playing damage player Kim “DoHa” Dongha on Genji.
The winning team of the North America All-Star game will receive $75,000, making Crimzo’s job for the team an important one.
The support player was one of the Fuel’s most dynamic play-makers, often dictating the success of Dallas in its team fights.
Onigod was a hit-scan specialist for the Fuel playing Widowmaker, Ashe and McCree, making his a strong candidate for the 1-vs-1 event and its $7,500 prize. He he optimized in that role for the Fuel despite playing from Norway on high ping.
Despite the connection disadvantage, Onigod was capable and successful in winning his DPS duels.
After an unimpressive season for the Fuel, fans can look forward to seeing the Fuel stars perform late in the season.
