Dallas Fuel sign hitscan DPS player ‘Xzi’, capping offseason roster moves - The Dallas Morning News

The Dallas Fuel finally have their hitscan player. Jung “Xzi” Ki-hyo was announced as the latest addition to the Fuel DPS line Saturday afternoon on Twitter, move pending league approval.

Xzi joined an already stacked damage cast in former Paris Eternal teammate Kim “SP9RK1E” Yeong-han and Kim “DoHa” Dongha, making the Fuel’s DPS dealers a formidable bunch entering the 2021 season.

DPS was a strong suit for a struggling Fuel team in 2020. DoHa, Stefan “Onigod” Fiskerstrand and Jang “Decay” Gui-un held their own in duels with opposing damage players.

But this is a completely new scenario. As an all-Korean roster full players that are former teammates from Element Mystic as well as companions, the Fuel could enter the season with chemistry being a strength.

Dallas has eight players now — DoHa, SP9RK1E and Xzi are joined by tank players Lee “Fearless” Eui-Seok and Choi “Hanbin” Han-been as well as support players Lee “Jecse” Seung-soo, Jun “Fielder” Kwon and Kim “Rapel” Jun-keun.

Optimism and interest around the Fuel is high with the team’s roster rebuild, but with that will come expectations.

Now all the Fuel can do is practice as the Overwatch League world awaits a new Dallas team.
