Hot Jobs Data Fuels Oil Bounce Ahead of OPEC+ Confab - The Wall Street Journal

Crude prices have bounced toward the end of the week, as traders covered short positions on Thursday and hot U.S. jobs data on Friday signaled American companies and drivers could guzzle more fuel.

Benchmark U.S. crude is up 5.6% since Wednesday's close, to $71.91 a barrel, reversing a late-May selloff that culminated the steepest monthly decline in prices since November 2021.
