Dallas Fuel sign main tank ‘Fearless’, now have 6 players for 2021 - The Dallas Morning News

The Dallas Fuel have their main tank player.

The Dallas Fuel acquired Lee “Fearless” Eui-Seok from the Shanghai Dragons to Dallas, the Fuel announced Saturday evening on Twitter. Terms of the deal, which is pending league approval, were not disclosed.

The action gave the Fuel its sixth player, and Fearless' chemistry with off-tank player Choi “Hanbin” Han-been will be critical to Dallas' success in the 2021 season.

The Fuel are a team of new faces, as only damage player Kim “DoHa” Donhga was retained from the 2020 rendition in Dallas.

That team struggled with team chemistry and were disjointed in matches because of a damaged team culture.

However, this group of Dallas players all come from similar origins as former Element Mystic players before reaching Overwatch League heights.

Along with DoHa and Hanbin, Fearless joins damage player Kim “Sp9rk1e” Yeong-han and support players Kwon “Fielder” Jun and Kim “Rapel” Jun-keun. Head coach Yun “RUSH” Hee-won and assistant coaches Kim “Yong” Yong-Jin and Go “Aid” Jae-yoon fill out the current staff.

Still missing from a rounded Fuel roster are a main support player and a dedicated hitscan DPS player, but Fearless could be a difference maker as a 2020 OWL all-star for a Shanghai Dragons team that made a final four appearance in the playoffs.
